Highland Cattle are a very hardy and surprisingly mild tempered breed that originates from the rugged remote Scottish Highlands. Today they are also to be found throughout many parts of the world. I was first inspired by them as I was growing up in Charnwood forest in Leicestershire as there was a large herd of them there. This particular creature belonged to a friend of mine. The title just seemed apt for such a hairy majestic beast that hails from Scotland.
